Yael Aflalo is a fashion industry innovator and trailblazer. She used to be a model for fashion’s most well-known brands. In 1999, she released her exclusive clothing label, Ya-Ya, and has opened her own vintage clothing business in California. Urban Outfitters carried an exclusive Yael Aflalo collection.
In 2009, she launched Reformation, a forward-thinking fashion label that combines trendy designs and environmentally sustainable materials and production methods. The need for Reformation became obvious to Yael when she was travelling in China and visited clothing factories there. She saw inefficient and harmful production lines. Aflalo returned to her professional pursuits with a heightened resolve to create sustainable, affordable, and chic clothing.
Yael Aflalo moved to New York from her native California.
